EXPERIENCE
Ventrop Engineering Consulting Group, PLLC (VECG), was founded in 2011 as a continuation of the professional engineering practice of three partners (previously on the same team) with a combined experience of over 50 years in MEP in the New York Metropolitan area. Ventrop ECG is a multidisciplinary engineering firm offering nearly all building related engineering services under one roof.
With our multidisciplinary engineering capabilities, the complications and challenges often faced on energy management and conservation projects by other MEP engineers are often swiftly and economically overcome through close cooperation, coordination and prioritization of our services within the same team of engineers.
GOAL
Since its inception, Ventrop ECG has been working on several fronts with the goal of achieving energy saving schemes for building owners and developers. We have partnered with Con Edison’s Green-Team, and have worked closely with owners, contractors, manufacturers, and government authorities, to help with the creation of energy efficient, safe, and reliable MEP projects.

In the spirit of excellent service, Ventrop ECG offers outstanding professional engineering services to building owners and developers by building on decades of experience in the field while maintaining a state of the art body of knowledge in engineering, and bridging the gap between the art of science of engineering and construction, all within an honest, responsive, and dedicated environment to our clients.
The team of professionals at Ventrop ECG has completed the design and construction administration of numerous projects with energy management and boiler plant replacement and modernization of HVAC systems in the City of New York and surrounding area, where in certain instances about 80% of energy saving was achieved through the implementation of these projects.

Through creative engineering design solutions, and close partnerships with Owners, Contractors and others on the project teams, our team of professionals have successfully achieved substantial energy and money saving on numerous projects. Ventrop ECG will continue this tradition of excellence through our energy engineering and design services as well as administration of the construction work for the implementation of new energy measures for our clients’ buildings.

Received 1st Place Award by Con Edison Green Team for gas savings for the program year of 2012.
Received the 1st Place Award by Con Edison Green Team for the most gas energy saving for the year 2012 for a single project. The project involved the replacement of 3-300 HP boilers and the installation of new co-gen system at Sutton Terrace (450 E 63rd street, New York, NY).
